Resolution, brightness and colors can all be changed in your monitor or display preference panels.
  • We strongly suggest that you view the site at the highest resolution available to you. View it at 800 x 600 if you must. If you chose a low resolution because the type is hard to read, you can increase the text (font) size in your browser preferences.
  • If you have a laptop or a flat display, view the site at the resolution for which that site is optimized.
  • Use the maximum number of colors available to you.

Download the latest version of a popular browser. We find that the site works best in internet explorer for Windows, Safari for the Mac, Opera for both platforms. Netscape is the most buggy. For AOL users:

  • Do not use the native AOL browser to view this or any other image-rich site. The AOL browser compresses images over and above our own compressions - thereby causing severe degrading of the images. You can override this by disabling the image compression option in your browser preferences. If you do this, be sure to clear your cache.
  • AOL has other known bugs which adversely affect this and any other site: it is best not to use it. -
